A diehard We Heart It and Tumblr girlie before Pinterest blessed my interwebs.
I remember being extremely homesick living in Paris my Freshman year of college. To console myself, I would stop by the tiny grocery store on my street after class, grab a demi-baguette and packet of Genoa salami (still my fave), sit on my bed in my microscopic studio apartment, Parks and Rec on in the background, and just scour Tumblr. For hours.
But that was years ago, and now I have my dear Pinterest. And while I do spend hours on it, I mostly use it to enhance my life, give me ideas, and help with work. Not so much escapism. A good mood board genuinely pumps me full of endorphins.
